Men's Captain's Day

Saturday 29th July 2023 - Benton Hall, Blue Tees

On Saturday 30th July we have our big summer event - Men's Captain’s Day (8:30am shotgun start). This provides us with an opportunity to take ourselves as golfers less seriously and have a fun day out. There will be the usual set of shenanigans associated with the day and a bonus for those of you who like fancy dress to be creative and wear something different, either before, after or during the golf. We are supporting a theme of "Heroes and Villain's" and will leave to your imagination as to who a hero or villain is, and to either come fully kitted out or wear a token to represent said person. There will also be a raffle, plus refreshments will be provided on the course and at the Halfway Hut. There will be a presentation in the Golf Bar following the conclusion of play.

Players should enter as a pair and each pair will be randomly drawn with another pair to make a team of 4, with the best 3 Stableford scores per hole counting towards the overall team total (teams of 3 may score 1.5 points on a hole if required). If you do not have a partner, please let me know and I will try and pair you up with someone. Please note that 5-day members may enter the competition from 21st July onwards.
