Course Managers Update

Just to inform everyone that the land owners are having a number of their willow trees out.  This work will commence Monday 28th September.  The holes effected are 14th, 15th , 16th, 17th and the 18th.  This work is expected to take a few weeks and will be carried out with the least disruption to the golf course as possible.  It is possible that some temporary greens and or tees may be required, but if so, will be done on non competition days and the work will be carried out during the working week.  During the work there will be a number of fire sites in operation.  These will be reinstated on completion of the work.  The stumps left will be removed as soon as possible, but given the time of year, may be left until this coming Spring, should ground conditions prevent the removal now.

This work is carried out every 5 years or so, and the green keeping  team apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to your game over the coming few weeks.
